Introduction to ICJC

The Qur’an in its scope is the full and final divinely revealed constitution for mankind. It is also the textbook of the Muslim Iman (Faith) and the source book of Islamic laws, rules and regulations for the Muslims.

The Islamic Center of Johnson County, Inc., unequivocally affirms the Qur’an and the Sunnah as its eternal and ultimate constitution. We seek Allah's blessings for our endeavors to maintain a representative incorporated organization, which will provide opportunity and services for the fullest religious and educational development of the individual and the Muslim Community.

We the Muslims of the Islamic Center of Johnson County, Inc., hereby resolve that a non-profit organization be formed and its constitution and bylaws established for the smooth functioning of the Islamic Center of Johnson County, Inc. The objectives of the Islamic Center of Johnson County, Inc. will be exclusively religious, educational, and charitable within the meaning as defined in Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of the United States of America.

ICJC  was incorporated with the State of Kansas in March 2000 (State of Kansas ID. #2850527) and is an exempt organization for the purpose of federal income tax under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Service code.
