As an African American Muslim woman, her work thoughtfully explores the intersections of race, gender, faith, and identity. Her poetry has been widely published in respected literary journals including Rattle, Callaloo, Crab Orchard Review, and Calyx. Her poem “Vanna White Reconsiders Her Pact With Her Jinn” was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2019, following an earlier nomination in 2015 for “Why I Can Dance Down a Soul Train Line…”. Her second poetry collection was a finalist for the 2024 HubCity Press BIPOC Poetry Series. Through her writing, Sister Aisha brings depth, vulnerability, and reflection to conversations around relationships and lived experience. David Muhammad Brother David Muhammad serves as the Dean of Student Services at The Barstow School and is the Executive Director of the Integrity Marital Arts Academy. He holds a Master’s degree in Education, earned in 2012, and has dedicated his career to student development, character education, and healthy relationship building. Through his work in both educational and marital spaces, Brother David brings a practical, values-driven approach to marriage, communication, and personal growth, grounded in both professional experience and community engagement. Imam Mohamed Herbert Imam Mohamed Herbert was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, where he completed his hifdh at a young age through the Islamic Society of Baltimore. After completing his undergraduate studies, he moved to Irving, Texas to pursue advanced Islamic studies and Arabic at Qalam Seminary. He completed the Seminary Certificate Program in 2014 and began serving as Imam of the Mansfield Islamic Center while continuing his studies. In 2019, Imam Mohamed graduated from the Alimiyyah Program and later moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he served as both Youth Director and Imam. He currently teaches Tafseer, Fiqh, and Seerah at Legacy International Online High School, advises on curriculum development, and oversees the Islamic Studies department. In addition, he works closely with Qalam Institute as an instructor for online courses and Qalam Travel programs. Imam Mohamed brings deep scholarly insight alongside years of pastoral and community experience to discussions on marriage and family life.
